Approve/Reject HR PF Tasks from POWL

Hi,

we are using SAP ECC Ehp7.

we created HR Process and forms (uses workflow) for org unit objects. Our Processes and Forms are based on FPM, and not using Adobe Interactive Forms.

after initiating process, the task is visible in SBWP workitems. when we click on the workitem, it says "Work item can only be executed using the Portal and the UWL". this we understood, that PF tasks cannot be executed from SBWP.

we are not using portal/UWL.

after searching in scn, other option we explored was to use POWL(as we are in Ehp7).

we launched the powl webdynpro application using

http://eccserver:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ibo_wda_inbox?sap-wd-configId=IBO_WDAC_POWL_INBOX

Here we can see the workitems, but when we click on any of the work item, nothing happens.

is it possible to use POWL for approving/rejecting HR PF steps.

do we need to do anything more to achieve this. How can we configure in such a way that when we click on the workitem, the task opens in a WDA page, so that it can be approved or rejected.
