Hi Experts,
We recently upgraded our system to EHP6 SP9.
We noticed that when payroll is run and we try to update the W4 details on a day within the payroll period, we get an error as "Start date must be <start date of next payroll period > or later."
For example: Payroll was run on the 12th Jan for the period 1st Jan to 15th Jan. If we try to update the W4 details on the 13th Jan, we get an error as "Start date must be 01/16/2015 or later".
We noticed that previously in such cases, the changes used to get updated and the users used to get a message saying the changes would be effective from the next payroll period.
The error that shows up now is a hard error which does not permit the updates.
Please help.
Also, is there any way that employees can enter W4 changes effective a future date?
