FM to check if an object exist(CP id) under an evaluation path

Hello all I have a typical requirement to check few objects under an evaluation path; is there any standard FM to know if an Object ID (like CP id or position id in infotype 1001) exists under an evaluation path? I don't want to fetch all the objects under the eval path and then check it manually later.
