I hope someone from SAP HCM experts can clarify it for me. But any help is greatly appreciated.
We’re upgraded our system ECC 6.0 from EHP6 to EHP7(EA-HR 607 SP-Level 29, SAP_HR 604 SP-Level 0079) and NW Portal from 7.3 SP8 to 7.4 SP8. The decision was made to use WDA ESS/MSS services.
From blog posted by Siddharth Rajora (http://scn.sap.com/community/erp/hcm/employee-self-service/blog/2014/04/18/hcm-ehp5-ehp6-and-hr-renewal-important-links-and-documents) and comments I understand that no BP required anymore for ESS/MSS WDA to install. Just upload via PFCG (sap note 1685257) but still not sure how to do it, I don’t see any instructions. Please advise.
My second question. Do we need to install HR Renewal with EHP7 or it’s optional? In case “we have to” which version HR renewal 1 or 2?
