we are implementing HCM, ESS and MSS for our company. its new implementation.
the HCM master data in infotypes is available.
we need to create the ecc usernames for each employee in R/3(non-dialog), and map it in 105 infotype of the respective employee. finally the ess/mss functionality will be accessed by the employees in portal.
for employee with pernr 12345678, is it better to create R/3 username same as pernr like: 12345678 or is it better to create R/3 usernames with some prefix like: U12345678 or A12345678.
when analysed, for simplicity it is better to go with username and pernr to be the same, but could we foresee any issues later if we keep the same.
or are there any benefits to keep r/3 username different from pernr.
