HR Renewal 1.0 FP4 Landing Page - Does it require a reverse proxy?

Hello,

We have installed HR Renewal 1.0 FP4 on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 and we installed the Gateway in the same instance.

In the Administrator guide for HR Renewal 1.0 Feature Pack 3, on page 11,   "3.1 Landing Page Installation Introduction", it says

"RECOMMENDATION

SAP recommends using SAP NetWeaver Gateway on the same server as the Business Suite application. This avoids the use of a reverse proxy"

But, in the Administrator Guide for HR renewal 1.0 Feature Pack 4 (Support Package 14 ff.), this is not mentioned.

Question:  For the Landing Page in HR Renewal 1.0 FP4, with the Gateway installed in the same instance, is a reverse proxy required?
