simple Notifications to be seen in UWL and POWL lean inbox

Hi all,

When an employee master data gets updated, we are sending emails to the employees using the BCS class.

employees are getting emails properly. (we are not using any workflow for this).

but the same notifications, the employee should also get in their UWL (as seen by the employee in EP ) and POWL lean workflow inbox (used by few employees).

is there any easy way to send notification items to UWL and POWL inbox.

to achieve this, using Workflow or Tasks is mandatory.
