Hi group,
In MSS HOMEPAGE there is an UIBB "Reminder of dates (HRMSS_REMINDER_OF_DATES).
From this, you can click on the employee name which brings you in to a short profile. We believe the profile is SAP_MSS_GENPROFILE_SHORT.
Our need is to replace this profile with a Z-version.
But we cannot find where this call is made.
Could anyone point us to where we set this up?

I am attempting to replace the older iViews (leaverequestapprover and teamcalendar) with the newer iView (approveleaverequest) which seems to combine the two functions.
When implementing the approveleaverequest iView, I get the following mesaage "No Team setup for the user in the selection period. Contact Administrator."
However, looking at the older Team Calendar iView, teamcalendar, I can see the team. Both iViews are assigned to the Team page for comparison.
Not sure what's wrong but I'm confident I have all the configuration correct else the test team members wouldn't be appearing in the older iView. I've read some other unanswered posts that asked the same question and rechecked all the objects people had suggested.
What's even more puzzling, if I have one of my managers submit a leave request to their manager, the approveleaverequest iView will show the entire team with the leave request for the manager waiting for approval.
I'm stumped and could use some guidance on how to get the team calendar to work.

New regulations have been released (Sept 25th 2014) in regards to Veterans statuses and now we dont need to identify the type of Veteran and only need to maintain whether an individual is a "Protected Veteran" or "Not a Protected Veteran". Is SAP going to provide a note for the new regs? And how are your companies collecting IT77 data? Thank you in advance for your much appreciated responses!

Last year our Senior management reported very slow performance of MSS during Compensation Planning season.
This mighty be happening due to large number of employee reporting to a manager.
Currently our system is on EA-HR 607 SP 23, SAP_HR 604 SP 72.

I am implementing SAP Fiori Fiori Create Sales Orders App. All the components mentioned in the App Implementation are installed to the expected Support Pack Level. The Back-End Role SAP_SD_SO_CRE_APP is created successfully. But the roles,
are not getting created. I am getting the message Role SAP_SD_BCR_FIELDSALESREP_X1 does not contain any active authorisations; and
Role SAP_SD_TCR_T_X1 does not exists.
Is there anything else that needs to be installed or implemented?

Employee tries to withdraw the request for booked leave. It appears in the "Approve Leave Request" in Fiori app for Manager.
However , it does not give the details to manager that this request is to Withdraw leave, it appears as employee is requesting for this leave.
How does the manager know that this request is to withdraw leave ?

There is some issue in our Company Enterprise Portal that Employee can apply more than Quota which have given and approved leave do not deduct from quota. I am new in Enterprise Portal. So can you guide me how to do this.
Actually System was running ok but after upgradation of EHP6, happened this type of issue in Portal. If possible, please provide the step by step details.

Dear Gurus
We had a new patch installed in system and ESS personal profile stopped working. FPM application HRESS_AC_PERSINFO giving dump.
We debug further and found one additional column is appearing in the BANK Infotype configuration that is 'DISPLAY_COLUMN' and feeder class is not recognizing this column.
Bank related configuration is changed in system.

HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_BANK_VAL
Please can you help us if there is any fix / OSS note for this or other way to resolve the issue.

Dear Experts,
Before Overtime wagetype hours released in ESS portal and manager will open the R3 system and manually approve his hours and it will be updated in 2010 Infotype.
Now scenario is like From ESS screen employee apply OT hours it is triggering approval mail to his reporting Manager .MSS screen manager trying to approve his task getting attached screen shot error.
To approve do we need to do any configuration or any service package cats to be activated.
If you share the config step for this it will be helpful.

I am having an issue in the portal where my custom launchpad is not visible in the portal. The requirement is to hide the tabs MAP and INDEX. Shown below are the steps that i have followed.
1. Functional Consultant ha created a new role ZESS.
2. Z Copied the confguration ZHRESS_AC_MENU
3. Z copied the configurtion ZHRESS_CC_MENU_OVP
4. Z copied the configuration ZHRESS_CC_MENU_AREA_GROUP.
I have assigned ZHRESS_CC_MENU_AREA_GROUP to ZHRESS_CC_MENU_OVP and ZHRESS_CC_MENU_OVP to ZHRESS_AC_MENU. I replaced the standard role ESS with the custom role ZESS. I changed the option for MAP and INDEX to Invisible and made only Directory visible. In the preview mode the i can see that INDEX and MAP becoming invisible but when i login to the portal the changes are not reflected. I can still see the tabs index and MAP. What am I missing ??Your help is greatly appreciated.
As you can see below the preview shows correctly.
Portal View still has tabs.

I am new to HCM process and forms. Kindly help me to resolve the following issue.
I added some fields in the back-end service-->Fields from Service Fields. Added fields are displaying in form fields as well as while testing in GUi mode.
When i start the FPM configuration i didn't saw the added fields to design.
I tried with adding different fields and custom fields in form fields. But none of them display in FPM Configuration.

We are using ESS with NWBC in ECC 6.0 EHP6.
In ESS, employee cannot find the Search Option Functionality to find the basic details of other employees. Our Client need this feature as well. How can we do it.?

Hi Experts,
Please let me know the configuration steps for enabling Infotypes 581(HRA COA/CLA) and infotype 584 (Income from other Sources) in ESS IT Declaration screen.
Currently only three of the Infotypes are visible Previous Employment Tax Details IT0580, Sec 80c IT0586 and Sec 80 IT0585.
I have maintained the Table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP.

Hi Experts,
As we know that in WDA there is no Who's Who service. In order to make it enable in WDA we have to link the Who's Who in WDJ.
I have created the new application under Personal Information in TCode LPD_CUST as Who's Who and gave the PCD link/location of the WDJ. When i save it and exit form the system and login again into LPD_CUST the following name shows up in the LPD_CUST under Personal Information as"Application 1 (Description in Language English doesn't exist)"(Previously created as who's who) and the same appears in the ESS Screen.
When I click on the Application 1 in ESS the screen screen shot describes the error attached herewith.
Please help me on this.

We have recently implemented ESS / MSS for a client.
As part of this , we had a SSO link betweeen SAP and Successfactors.
Context :
SAP Portal Login happens using ldap . (e.g: User id : Rthan01 - Mixed case )
LDAP User credentials are maintained through Active Directory. And Active Directory is the User master for over 100+ Applications.
Daily interface between Active Directory and SAP HCM updates IT105 Subtype 0001 in Upper Case (RTHAN01)
And Interface between SAP and Successfactors picks up the User name from IT105 Subtype 0001 and sends it across to Successfactors.
Issue :
Portal user logins into the SAP portal using Rthan01 - Mixed case.
When the portal user clicks on the link for Successfactors.
Ideally SSO connection needs to be established.
But the ldap user id (Rthan01) is being compared with Successfactors login id (RTHAN01).
Since the ids are different , the login abends, and we get a user error.
Solution Required:
a) Any option to change case of the LogID in SSO Configuration.
b) Any option in SSO Configuration which can be used to address Misaligned User Attributes.
c) Any other option that can be used to address this requirement.
